前些日子，堂哥跟我说，几天没去看未婚妻，对方就发牢骚，结果多带点零食给她，心情便柳暗花明，豁然开朗。2500年前的孔子就说：“唯女子与小人为难养也，近之则不孙（同‘逊’），远之则怨”，看来，女人真是亘古不变啊！古人曰“女子无才便是德”，今人戏言“本科女生是黄蓉，硕士便是李莫愁，博士则成灭绝师太”，斗转星移，时代变迁，社会发展，唯独女人如故。不过，时至今日，虽然女人德性不变，装扮却在变，变得更具格莱美（glamour）。
“Leggings under tunics or skirts is the fashion trend nowadays”（束腰外衣或裙子搭配打底裤是当今时尚潮流），国外时尚网站报道。所谓“leggings”，中文翻作“打底裤”，个人觉得译成“勒紧裤”或 “紧腿裤”更能体现其含义。80年代出生的MM应该还记得曾经风靡大街小巷的健美裤，潮流总是周而复始，十年后健美裤又以强劲的势头卷土重来，不过这次它变成颇受街头潮人追捧的打底裤。
打底裤之所以如此受欢迎，无外乎它紧而薄，若隐若现，凸显曲线，尤其它以黑色为主，对男人无疑是致命一击。老子说：“不见可欲,使民心不乱。”在打底裤盛行的时代，男人唯有整天闭上眼睛，方可心不乱，不过这似乎不太现实，所以有些地方另有高招，据《达拉斯晨报》消息：
A Dallas-area school district has decided high school girls wearing tight leggings with skimpy skirts are too distracting and banned the outfits.
达拉斯（美国得克萨斯州东北部城市）学区认为打底裤配超短裙实在太让人分心，所以禁止这种装扮。

Many female students are annoyed with the fashion imposition, The Dallas Morning News reported.

"I think the leggings ban is really dumb because it covers up more of your skin," 17-year-old Shannon Utley told the newspaper.

Student Gabrielle Blummer, 17, said she doesn't approve of leggings simply from a fashion standpoint but at the same time said it was "hypocritical" for cheerleaders to be allowed to wear short skirts with leggings but not other girls.

达拉斯学区禁“leggings”，遭到女生的强烈反对，不过即便禁令得到很好地执行，男生出了校门照样能看到“leggings”，所以学区的做法在一定程度上是徒劳无益的。
达拉斯禁令的颁布，“leggings”的流行程度可见一斑，正因为穿它的人太多了，不少女生认为Mini skirt+leggings = a fashion disaster（超短裙+打底裤=流行灾难）? 有人在“Yahoo Answers（雅虎答疑）”提问：“Why is everybody wearing mini skirts with leggings（为什么每个人都穿超短裙配打底裤）?”Merryker评论说：“I think it's absolutly hideous. I think people just do it because they see other people doing it, it's a disaster. If the fashion industry came out and said wearing underwear on your head was cool, I'm sure you'd see lots of girls doing it- they believe anything.”（“我已经完全厌恶那个了，人们只会简单地效仿他人，那是一场灾难。如果有一天流行是把内衣裤穿到头上，我肯定很多女孩子会那样做—她们追捧流行。”）流行固然不能盲目跟随，但Merryker未免过于偏见。1985年，邓小平再度当选美国《时代》周刊年度风云人物，他的关于“不管黑猫白猫，捉到老鼠就是好猫”（Whether a cat is black or white makes no difference. As long as it catches mice, it is a good cat.）的理论被摘登在《时代》周刊上。对于服饰我倒有句话--不管流行不流行，只要穿到身上好看就行。如果leggings使你魅力飙升，就不必在乎它是时髦还是俗气，或许世界正因你的装扮而变得更加美好。
